Fiber Farm Summer Camp: Celebrating Nature's Palette & Fiber Crafts for ages 5-9 July 20-24, 2026

This week we will celebrate the gifts of fiber and color given to us by the natural world!  We will be harvesting dye plants and following the transformation of the plant to dye. We will dye cloth, yarn and wood a rainbow of colors. Farm walks and visits to the merino sheep will be a daily activity. Campers will learn about wool processing, natural dye plants and various fiber crafts while creating a weaving with our materials. All supplies included in cost. This camp is open to kids ages 5-9 years old. Camp size is limited to 10 campers.

This summer day camp runs Monday-Friday 9am to noon daily from July 20-24, 2026.

Registration deadline is the week prior to camp Monday July 13, 2026.

If your child is registered and unable to attend, a 50% refund will be issued if we are notified at least 10 business days prior to the start of camp. No refunds will be issued for dropped registrations less than 10 business days prior to the start of camp.

Farm camp details: 

• Camp will be held in outdoor spaces as well as in The Studio building on the farm.  
• As we will be out in the sun, hats and sunscreen are advised.
• Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a mid morning snack.  
• The camp is run by Heidi Lantz-Trissel, owner of Simple Hill Farm.
