Fig-Roving

Washed and carded batting/roving ready for hand spinning or felting. The wool is from a multi-colored, chocolate caramel swirl sheep in our flock named Fig seen in the picture with her spots. This batt is 100% fine merino wool with a micron count of 17.6. 

Pictures shown include a batt of roving, Fig's raw fleece and newly shorn Fig!  Some of the balls of roving have more variation in colors (cream, brown and grey) than others.  The fleece has been gently processed with biodegradable, petroleum free detergent and has moderate vegetative matter. $8/oz. Batts are sold in per-weighed amounts.
